Accessibility statement

We want every child to be able to learn and play here.

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. We are not yet claiming full conformance, because the website has not had an independent audit.

What we have done

  • All text and buttons meet WCAG AA color contrast (most meet the stricter AAA level).
  • Everything works with a keyboard, with a clear outline showing where you are.
  • Games never need dragging. Every match is made by tapping or pressing a button.
  • Big buttons that are easy to tap for small fingers.
  • No timers in games, and no flashing.
  • Animations stop if your device is set to "reduce motion".
  • Sound is off unless you turn it on. A "focus mode" hides everything except the game.
  • Pictures have text descriptions for screen readers, and decorative pictures are hidden from them.
  • Text can be zoomed up to 200% without breaking the layout.

How we test

We check pages with an automated accessibility checker (axe), test every game using only a keyboard, and test on small phone screens. Last checked: 26 October 2026.

Known limitations

  • Tracing sheets and coloring pages are visual activities on paper and are not suitable for blind children.
  • Some emoji pictures may be read out differently by different screen readers.
  • We have not yet tested with every screen reader. Feedback is very welcome.
