Quick answers for parents and teachers.

Is BrightBean Kids free?: Yes. All lessons, games and printables are free to use.
Does my child need an account?: No. Children never need to sign up or give any personal information.
What ages is it for?: Ages 3 to 11, in four groups: 3–5, 5–7, 7–9 and 9–11. Each lesson and game shows its age group.
Is it safe for children?: Yes. There is no chat, no adverts on children's pages, no links to social media, and we don't collect children's personal information. See our Child safety page for details.
Can I print the worksheets for my class?: Yes. Printables are free for home and classroom use. Please don't sell them or upload them to other websites.
How are lessons checked?: Every lesson is checked against our checklist before it is published: facts, quiz answers, reading level and safety. If you spot a mistake, please tell us and we will fix it.
Does it work on phones and tablets?: Yes. Everything works with touch, a mouse or a keyboard, on phones, tablets and computers.
Is there sound?: Games are silent unless you press the sound button. Sound is always off when you first visit.
Does the site use AI?: Not at the moment. Children never chat with AI on this website.
Do you show adverts?: No. There are no adverts on children's pages.
