Pip and the Big Red Berries

Ages 3โ€“5

Pip the little rabbit hopped into the garden. There was a bush full of big, red, juicy berries!

โ€œYum!โ€ said Pip. โ€œAll for me!โ€

Pip picked one berry, two berries, three berries. Then Pip heard a tiny voice.

โ€œIโ€™m so hungry,โ€ said Dot the mouse.

Pip looked at the berries. There were lots and lots! Pip looked at Dot. Dot looked very small and very hungry.

โ€œHere, Dot,โ€ said Pip. โ€œLetโ€™s share.โ€

Dot smiled a big, wide smile.

Soon Hoppy the frog came by, and Bella the bird too. Pip shared with everyone.

They sat together in the warm sun and ate berries until their tummies were full. Pipโ€™s heart felt warm and happy.

โ€œSharing is even yummier than berries,โ€ said Pip.

The lesson: Sharing makes everyone happy, and it makes you happy too.
